Morning Glory – Women's weekly Thursday morning Bible study. Last year (2009-2010) we learned about Paul, now we are going to study his letters to Timothy and Titus. Women of the Word – for several years now we have used Beth Moore studies for our Sunday morning study. The classes are open to women of all ages. The format of video teaching, small group discussion and daily Bible study has encouraged personal growth and a sense of small group belonging.

Craft Days – Women at West Side Church are busy, but they are also creative. Women's Ministry offers quarterly Craft Days for women of all ages. Sewers, painters, quilters, scrapbookers, chatters, cross-stitchers, knitters, and stampers are invited to bring a project (or several) for a time of working and fellowship at the West Side Activity Center (1007 Wright Ave - Richland).  So watch for upcoming dates - the next one is on Fri., Feb. 4 1:00-10:00 pm, and Sat., Feb. 5, 9:00 am-9:00 pm. Women are encouraged to come for part or all of the time.

Festival of Tables – Most years, on the first Saturday in December we gather for the “Festival of Tables”. This an­nual fellowship/outreach event has hosted up to 200 women. On this day we have the opportunity to get as creative as we wish with a table for eight.  Many women pull out their best china.  Some have used paper plates.  Last year one of our women bought everything from Goodwill and sent the ladies home with their plates and cups to fill it up with goodies and pass the blessing along! We encourage the hostess(es) to invite up to four friends and then leave two spots to be filled by members.  A brunch is served by the men of West Side, a Christmas program is presented and carols are sung.  It is a lovely way to begin the Christmas season and share the good news about Jesus with some friends. 2010 date has been set for Sat., Dec. 4, 9:00am-12:00 pm. Join us at West Side Activity Center (1007 Wright Ave. - Richland) for "Fear Not! Good Tidings."

Cookbook – Women are always exchanging good recipes and the women of West Side Church are no different. Twelve years ago a cookbook was printed containing those often-requested recipes. Five hundred copies sold quickly. Since then, newcomers to West Side have requested recipes from potlucks and luncheons only to hear, "It's in the cookbook." Now they are in luck:  by popular demand, the original cookbook was reprinted and a few copies are still available in the church office for $12. NOTE:  Old is good, but new is better! A whole new cookbook called "West Side Cooks" containing all new recipes has been printed and is currently available for $15.
