West Side Preschool offers classes for children 2–5 years of age. We have been serving the Tri-Cities for almost 50 years and are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and are currently pursuing reaccreditation. Our staff is comprised of professionally trained teachers who have specialized in working with and caring for young children and their families. Our developmentally-appropriate and activity-based curriculum emphasizes the social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth of each child in a positive and nurturing environment. Our goal is to provide a place where children learn at their own pace to be independent, make decisions and feel confident about themselves, to interact in a positive manner with others, and to love learning.
West Side Preschool is a Co-operative Preschool. Family members participate in the classroom approximately once a month on a scheduled basis that seeks to take into consideration individual family situations. West Side Preschool is under the sponsorship of West Side Church.
