Interested in making the Bible come to life as never before? Come visit the Holy Land and walk in the footsteps of Jesus and the saints! West Side Church is planning a trip to Israel in conjunction with Jerusalem University College’s Pastor and Parishoner Study Tour program. JUC will be providing study materials and a tour guide/instructor that will help make the Holy Land come to life.
The aim of our short-term programs is to have our students exposed to the geography, history, culture, peoples, and languages of Israel so that they may be better equipped to study the Word of God, and understand current events in the Middle East. Our students become more alive to the reality of the biblical events as they experience their actual locations in the land of the Bible.
When you hike the land and see the archaeological, geographical and historical evidence, you will gain new confidence in Scripture. Your faith builds by replaying biblical history on the hills and valleys where events took place. Studying the Bible in its original setting under skilled instructors will challenge your thinking and make Bible reading and teaching come alive as never before. We invite you to become part of this unique experience in the land of Israel!
COST: $1757 plus airfare (approx. $1521) per person. Cost includes transportation in country (except to/from airport), lodging (double occupancy), three meals/day, study materials, entry fees, and course instructor. (Course instructor is a highly-qualified expert in the historical geography of Israel and committed evangelical scholar from Jerusalem University College.)

PASPPORT INFORMATION: Passports currently can take up to 4 months to process Please begin applying for a new passport or renew your current passport ASAP. Passports must be valid for AT LEAST 6 months past April 13, 2008.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Mature teens may be allowed if traveling with a parent. Please discuss with trip coordinators for approval.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Participants must be in excellent physical condition. Daily hiking can be rigorous and sustained in rugged terrain. Participants over age 50 or with certain physical conditions must receive a physician’s approval.
JORDAN OPTION: A 2 1/2–day trip to Jordan can be added on to the trip for $660/person, with a minimum of 10 people.
